Join us for the 5th annual summer evening FREE Takeout Picnic in Independence Park, featuring soft rock from Chicago-area band Soft Opening. We encourage you to come early to support our local shops and food/drink stops by picking up a takeout picnic meal from one of our many Central Street restaurants.
*This event is FREE and held in partnership with SPACE, Evanston Folk Fest, Evanston's Starlight Concert Series and sponsored by Jackie Mack & More.
New addition this year! Central Street received a Sustain Evanston grant to offer composting stations during the event. Our composting partner for this event is The Urban Canopy.
