Sew the Wooly Petals Silly Goose at Sew on Central
Learn how to sew the Silly Goose, a darling stuffed goose, which once you sew one you’ll need a whole flock. This class is for advanced beginners to intermediate sewists. You should be comfortable using a sewing machine. All supplies included.

Mack's Bike and Goods Evanston Witches Ride 2026
Join Mack’s Bike and Goods for our annual Witches Ride, a festive community bicycle ride celebrating spooky season! Witches will gather at Mack’s at 5:00 PM and depart at 5:45 PM for a loop through North Evanston along Lincoln and Harrison Streets. Riders are encouraged to dress up, bring candy to toss to little goblins along the route, and light up their bikes for the evening ride. Afterward, join us at The Fat Shallot for an elixir or two and dancing. This year’s ride will also support Sanctuary Evanston and its work with local immigrant neighbors.
